Four Months to Celebrity Solstice's Summer Season

22th June 2015 - The shortest day of the year, the winter solstice was over the weekend on Sunday 21 June 2015, which is exactly four months until Australia's highest rated cruise ship, Celebrity Solstice, returns to her summer home in Australia. This will mark her fourth Australian season, kicking off the 2015-2016 cruise season for Celebrity Cruises in Australia.
"Though it is deep in the heart of winter, the winter soltice is the turning point as the days begin to grow longer and the countdown to summer starts. With warmer days comes summer breaks and summer cruising, and the return of Celebrity Solstice. As one of the highest-rated locally based cruise ships*, she offers the most luxurious holidays afloat on local waters," said Sean Treacy, Commercial Director, Celebrity Cruises Australia.
Celebrity Solstice arrives home to Sydney on Wednesday 21 October. The modern luxury ship will offer a range of eight-to-18-night itineraries around Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, departing from Auckland, Sydney and Perth. This year also sees the return of another Aussie favourite, Celebrity Millennium, who will call by Australia during two sailings in her Asian season.
