Travel Documentation

Before Leaving Home:

Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the required travel documents you will be asked to provide before boarding the ship. Caution: The requirements described below are stipulated by government regulations and policies. They are subject to change without notice.
It is the sole responsibility of the guest to identify and obtain all required travel documents and to have them available when necessary. These appropriate valid travel documents such as passports, visas, inoculation certificates and family legal documents are required for boarding and re-entry.

Guests who do not possess the proper documentation may be prevented from boarding their flight or ship or from entering a country and may be subject to fines. No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.

Australian guests please note:


Celebrity Cruises Australian domestic cruises are those calling in only Australian ports and which originate and end in ports within Australia. (Note that Queensland cruises which include Willis Island are currently classed as domestic cruises). All other cruises are considered to be international cruises. These include (but are not limited to) cruises to New Zealand, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tahiti, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean. Australian citizens travelling on international cruises are required to have valid passports.

New Zealand guests please note:


Celebrity Cruises New Zealand domestic cruises are those which originate and end in ports within New Zealand which do not include a visit to an overseas port outside of New Zealand.  All other cruises are considered to be international cruises. These include (but are not limited to) cruises to Australia, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tahiti, Asia, Europe and the Caribbean. New Zealand citizens travelling on international cruises are required to have valid passports.

- Laminated government 
issued photo ID
- Passport
If the child does not have a photo 
ID either of the following must be 
presented:
- Original birth certificate
- AU domestic sailings only:
Parent's Medicare Card. If the child 
has a different surname to their 
parent they can use a Medicare 
Card as identification as long as a 
parent's name travelling with the 
child is included on the same 
Medicare Card.

Non AU Resident or Citizens:
Valid Passport


Luggage Tags:

Pre-issued luggage tags have been included in your Guest Ticket Booklet. We kindly ask that you print copies for each piece of luggage you wish to check in before arriving at the pier. Please fill in your name and cabin number. 

Guests who do not have their Guest Ticket Booklet will be able to collect blank baggage tags at the luggage drop off point and our staff will be happy to assist you in completing the relevant details. If you have not received your Guest Ticket Booklet, please contact your booking agent to obtain a copy.
